About Mary

Hello-I am a Nurse, Health Educator, and Wellness Consultant and Licensed Corporate Wellcoach. My coaching is both life and wellness coaching with an emphasis on building relationships, enhancing productivity and career fulfillment, and creating optimal health and happiness. My business is called PROMOTING HEALTH: THE MIDDLE WAY because I have a passion for health and health promotion with an emphasis on moderation and balance. I am optimistic about the future of medicine and see a place where allopathic and traditional medicine is integrated with holistic and alternative approaches. I am very excited about wellness coaching and working with WELLCOACHES to make this the next best practice in medicine and healing.

My life has been a journey with health and wellness remaining a central theme in my own philosophy of life and career path. The definition of health has changed over the years. To me health is not just about how you look and feel but also about what you think. What I have learned along my journey in this field of behavior change is that people change when there is an internal shift, not just an external program. As a coach I hope to help you dig deeper into your internal motivators that stimulate your growth and desire to change and find out what's getting in the way. Together you and I can come up with some strategies to move forward to mastering your health. I continue to learn about the mechanism of internal change and motivation, intuitive healing and holistic health.

I am married 33 years and have three grown children -two married. We are all in the medical and health field and so working within our current system is near and dear to my heart.
